I would love to take my students to the Museum of Mathematics, which may alleviate their fear & anxiety related to math. My students will have the opportunity to experience a private educator-led hands-on session in the classroom, plus exploration of the exhibit floor.
Field trips are so important because they bring classroom curricula to life. The Museum of Mathematics is a great venue for learning more about math in an engaging atmosphere. The other benefit of taking a field trip is allowing my students to show me how well they can behave in public. Many of my pupils profess they behave better when they’re not in school (which I know to be true), and leaving the school building gives me a glimpse of their conduct beyond the classroom.
My students love to take field trips, but it’s difficult to pay for them. Most of my students live in low-income housing, shelters, group homes, and foster homes. I need help paying for this trip to enhance my pupils' learning, and get some hands-on experiences outside of the classroom. Thank you so much for reading our proposal!
