We've integrated the fidgets and tactile putty into our \"focus kits,\" which students access to help redirect energy into productive concentration. One student, who often feels overwhelmed by noise, found that using a squishy ball provided sensory input to allow them to participate in group therapy activities.\r\n\r\nThey were so excited and thankful when they saw the variety of new materials. My students were genuinely touched that people they don't even know would donate money to help them. They loved the idea of a \"coffee shop\" to develop social skills during morning routine.
