These materials will help students learn basic and advanced skills in the game of basketball. The indoor basketballs will be used in the gym to teach dribbling, passing and shooting drills which will give them confidence on and off the court. The outdoors basketballs will be used for the same reason, just when the weather is nice we can train outside. The goggles will help them learn how to dribble the basketball without looking down at the ball, which will enable them to see the entire court as court vision and awareness is essential in the game. When these student are engaged in a structured environment, they learn better, feel a part of something, and understand better, especially doing something they love doing. The kids are having fun, interacting with the peers, and having fun. These students struggle on a daily basis with school work so the students get to exercise playing basketball, learn the game, and are less stressed from the day doing school work.
