My goal is to create a literacy rich environment, starting with a classroom library, which will be open to all students in the school, even our virtual students. The books will also be used during guided reading and small group teaching to provide targeted instruction. By funding this project, you will be putting books in the hands of children to help them increase their critical thinking and reading skills. Each book was carefully selected to ensure high interest, but keeping in mind student reading levels. Moreover, students gave recommendations of books they would like to have access to.
