When I introduced these materials to our students, they were thrilled to start creating! I've added a paint set, crayons, and colored pencils to our \"Free Create\" Station, and these materials have quickly become a class favorite for making beautiful choice art. There's so much excitement—students are practically lining up for a turn! Fortunately, since we received large sets, this center will remain fully stocked throughout the year.\r\n\r\n We'll also be using these materials for our upcoming Balloons Over Broadway project and our Disguise the Turkey art activity. I can't wait to see the colorful creations our young artists come up with!\r\n\r\n Thank you for your generous donations! Having materials that encourage choice and creativity is essential for young learners to reach their full potential. These resources will help many students express their feelings and share their emotions through art. They also provide wonderful opportunities for students who may not feel as confident with paper-and-pencil tasks to shine—using art supplies to demonstrate their knowledge and creativity.","fullyFundedDate":1746880075296,"projectUrl":"project/empowering-young-learners-through-art/9177058/","projectTitle":"Empowering Young Learners Through Art","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Eckhardt","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7291303"},{"teacherId":2304656,"projectId":9332614,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for helping support our garden club by purchasing \"A place for everything\"! When the boxes were first arrived, the students could not wait to open them. As many students had never seen a lap desk before, they were excited to use these special learning spots to work independently. \r\n The alphabet magnets are a staple in our classroom. We use them to practice letter and sound recognition, to reinforce alphabet order and to build words. With 12 sets, each pair of students has their own box of letters to work with cooperatively. \r\n The lap desks are a favorite item in the classroom. We use the lap desks for reading groups. Students love having their own personal desk to use while working from the whiteboard. Moreover, the lap desks have a handle, so students can carry their desk to any spot in the classroom that they choose to do their work. \r\n These tools will be used for years to come with future students.
