Your generosity has brought so much excitement, curiosity, and joy to our classroom. Our bird feeder and the abundance of food you provided arrived just in time—right before the Arctic Freeze swept through New Jersey. We couldn't be more grateful.\r\n\r\nOur courtyard has quickly become a lively little habitat. Our resident squirrel, Stanley, has been especially busy. Before the snow arrived, he spent days gathering seeds and hiding them in all his favorite spots. Now that everything is covered in a thick blanket of snow, he still visits daily, digging around for his treasures and happily snacking on the seeds the students toss out the window for him.\r\n\r\nWe've also been visited every day by a beautiful pair of cardinals—a bright red male and his softer, brown‑red partner. Along with them, several other small birds have discovered our feeder and stop by regularly for a meal. Watching these creatures up close has been magical for the students.\r\n\r\nThe kids took great pride in assembling the shepherd's staffs and hanging the feeder themselves. With the snow piled high, they've had to get creative, tossing seed out the window so our courtyard friends don't go hungry. Their sense of responsibility and compassion has been incredible to witness.\r\n\r\nAs soon as the weather warms up, we'll be adding a second feeder to our other shepherd's staff to welcome even more wildlife. The students absolutely love peering out the window throughout the day, checking on Stanley, spotting new birds, and observing how nature adapts to winter.\r\n\r\nYour support has turned a simple courtyard into a living classroom—one filled with wonder, empathy, and daily discoveries. After a long search and a few unexpected hurdles, we were finally able to secure a new ASUS laptop—and it has already become an essential part of our daily learning.\r\n\r\nThis laptop has filled so many gaps for us. It now runs our smart TV, allowing students to engage with lessons, visuals, and shared reading experiences in a way that feels dynamic and interactive. It has also become our reliable backup device for students who forget their iPads, ensuring no one misses out on learning opportunities.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting uses has been during our group projects for The President Has Been Shot! by James L. Swanson. Students have been able to research, collaborate, and present their findings more smoothly because we finally have a dependable device to support them.\r\n\r\nOn the teacher side, this laptop has made a world of difference. I use it every day to take attendance, create assignments, and keep our classroom running efficiently. It has truly strengthened both instruction and organization.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in our students and investing in the tools that help them learn, grow, and stay engaged.
