Your generosity means so much to me, but even more importantly, it is creating opportunities for my students that would not have been possible without your support.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, my 7th and 8th grade students will have access to hands-on STEM materials that allow them to move beyond simply learning about technology and actually build, invent, experiment, code, and create. Using the Makey Makey STEM materials, students will explore circuits and coding while designing interactive projects from their own ideas and everyday materials.\r\n\r\nMany of my students learn best when they can see something, touch it, build it, and work through a challenge with their classmates. These supplies will give them those opportunities while strengthening problem-solving, creativity, communication, collaboration, and confidence. They will also be especially valuable for my English language learners because hands-on learning provides another way for students to demonstrate what they know and contribute their ideas.\r\n\r\nWhat excites me most is that your donation is giving my students the chance to see themselves differently—not simply as students completing an assignment, but as inventors, designers, programmers, engineers, and problem-solvers. There is something incredibly powerful about watching a student realize, \"I made this, and it works!\"\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in my students and investing in their ideas.
