Our pool vacuum has been broken for over a year and it has not been repaired and we have been told that there is no money in the budget for a new one. Over the summer the pool was emptied and we helped clean it out but now since re-filling it, it has been getting dirtier and dirtier on the bottom of the pool and we have no way of cleaning it. The pool is crystal clear when the students come in but once they start swimming, the water is stirred up and all of the sediment and dirt on the bottom of the pool clouds the water to point where you can't see the bottom. This discourages those students that are undecided or apprehensive about taking pool in the first place. The cleaner the pool, the better it is and the more students will go in.
