My students come from a very urban area. Many of them do not have any type of technology in their homes, let alone in our school. While we do have some technology, it is mainly relegated to testing which is extremely unfortunate. Without the use of technology in my classroom, my students will not be able to reach their goals for the year. They are very enthusiastic about our Newsroom project, but also very stressed and disheartened because of the lack of technology. Many of these kids just wish to move on to high school, and possibly college. They are extremely motivated and excited to learn how to use technology to their advantage in the classroom setting. Please help them reach their goals.
