The headphone set will be used every day in our classroom. Each classroom is equipped with iPads that have programs for our struggling readers! They do not have a set of headphones to accompany their iPads but with your donation, the lower-level classes will also have access to the technology. With the transition to Common Core, students have been given larger, real-world problems that require technology at an earlier age. During this crucial year, the focus can be on learning mathematics and reading. Giving low-income students access to new technology is an investment in their future. The ability to listen to a speaker talk fluently allows students to tackle larger and more complex reading passages and word problems!
