The resources we received—including book bins, iPad cases, a movable standing teacher desk, and anchor chart paper—have already made a huge difference in our daily routines and classroom learning experiences.\r\n\r\nThe book bins have had an especially positive impact on our classroom library and independent reading time. Students are excited to browse through organized categories and quickly find books they enjoy reading. They are also taking greater responsibility for keeping the classroom library organized and helping one another choose books.\r\n\r\nThe iPad cases have also made a significant difference in our classroom. Before receiving the protective cases, students and I were often nervous about accidental drops or damage when moving devices around the classroom. Now, students can safely and confidently use the iPads during partner work, centers, and independent activities. The cases have helped students feel more responsible while also protecting valuable classroom technology.\r\n\r\nThe movable standing teacher desk has improved the flow of instruction in our classroom. The flexibility to raise or lower the desk allows me to move comfortably between whole-group lessons, small-group instruction, and one-on-one student support. It has made it easier to stay engaged with students throughout the day and create a more interactive classroom environment.\r\n\r\nThe anchor chart paper has quickly become one of our most-used classroom resources. We regularly create anchor charts together for reading strategies, math concepts, vocabulary, and classroom expectations. Students frequently refer back to these charts during independent work, which helps build confidence and encourages problem-solving.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, these resources will continue supporting student learning every day. Your generosity has helped create a classroom where students feel excited, prepared, and confident. Thank you for investing in our students and helping create a learning environment where every child can succeed.","fullyFundedDate":1768318730256,"projectUrl":"project/where-kindergarten-learning-comes-to-lif/9994496/","projectTitle":"Where Kindergarten Learning Comes to Life","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Cruz","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9368748"},{"teacherId":8101634,"projectId":10003822,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our classroom through DonorsChoose! Because of your generosity, my students now have access to engaging materials that will help build their communication, language, and social skills in meaningful and exciting ways.\r\nAs a school-based speech-language pathologist working with children ages 3–8, I see every day how important hands-on, motivating activities are for helping students grow in confidence and develop essential skills. The materials you provided will allow my students to practice speech and language goals through play, interaction, and exploration—making learning both effective and fun.\r\nYour kindness is making a direct impact on young learners during such an important stage of development. Many of my students face communication challenges, and these resources will help create opportunities for success, connection, and joy in our therapy sessions.\r\nThank you for believing in our students and investing in their future. Your generosity has made an immediate difference in both student learning and our daily classroom routines. Students now use the headphones during reading instruction, writing activities, listening comprehension, and online assessments. The ability to clearly hear audio directions and digital supports has helped students stay focused, work more independently, and feel more confident while learning.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting parts for students has been the freedom and ease of using wireless headphones. Without cords getting tangled or pulled, students transition more smoothly between activities and are able to focus on learning instead of managing equipment. The wireless design has also greatly reduced wear and tear on our classroom laptops because headphone jacks are no longer being bent, loosened, or damaged from constant plugging and unplugging. This has helped protect our shared technology and keep devices available for instruction each day.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nSeveral students who benefit from audio support tools, including features such as read-aloud and Immersive Reader, have especially connected with this technology. Students who sometimes struggled to stay engaged during independent work are now more focused and motivated because they can clearly hear directions and instructional content without distractions. Your support has helped create a calmer, more organized learning environment where students feel successful, responsible, and excited to learn.
