Instead of having materials scattered throughout the classroom, we will be able to organize them in one convenient location and easily move them wherever they are needed. This will help make our center time more efficient and allow us to spend more time learning and less time searching for or setting up materials.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, this cart will help encourage student independence. My kindergarten students will be able to learn where materials belong, help take care of our classroom resources, and eventually take more responsibility for gathering and putting away the materials they need. These small responsibilities are important opportunities for young children to develop confidence, organization, cooperation, and pride in their classroom.\r\n\r\nYour support also helps create a classroom environment where students can learn through doing. Whether they are counting with math manipulatives, building words with letter tiles, practicing beginning sounds, sorting objects, completing a puzzle, or working together with classmates, these experiences help make learning memorable.
