Our students were unable to access print books in a regular fashion since we had to temporarily close school in March 2020. Although we returned to school last year in a blended format, safety precautions prevented our students from having true access to a classroom library. Our small charter does not have a library in the building, so EVERY book I have available is well-used and thrifted. Giving kids high-quality resources is key to encouraging healthy and lifelong reader habits. While my classroom library is filled with very loved books that I've found at garage sales or thrift stores, my students are eager to read newly published titles. Help me share new, quality books with my students!
