Besides the students always being curious about new 3D prints to make. They also have been able to start a 3D design Club that meets after school on Mondays. The clubs consist of three groups ranging from 3rd,4th, and 5th grade students. We have also started a student store where students purchase different 3D prints and all funds go to a Student Generated Fund Account. We currently raised over $900.00 and are in the process of purchasing another 3D printer with the funds raised. \r\nWe have also created a Wellness program where students can earn points by staying physically active and charting their laps they have completed. When students hit their target goal they can use their points to get 3D printed prizes. All of this was done in the process of about 4 months and it continues to grow more each week. None of this would have been achieved if it wasnt for your donation to get everything going. All of us can agree that one the biggest factors for academic success is to have the ability to read and comprehend what is read. I will add that it is equally as important to enjoy reading. Read for fun. \r\n\r\nReading in my classroom looks like fun. I have expressed to my students that there is no such thing as a boring book, story or text. One can find the way to make it entertaining or informative. I told them my journey into books was thanks to graphic novels and manga which then lead me to reading content rich infomational text and high level novels. \r\n\r\nI am taken aback by how much they are reading.
