This strengthens their comprehension, critical thinking, and their ability to discuss texts thoughtfully.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom has become more engaging and purposeful because of this book. The conversations this text inspires have brought new excitement and energy to our literacy time.\r\n\r\nDifferent students are benefiting from Jack: The Real Story in unique ways. My higher readers especially love the independence the book allows. They enjoy diving into the story on their own and exploring how this fractured version adds twists to the original. Meanwhile, my more challenged readers are thriving when the story is read aloud to them. Each fold requires them to think ahead, stay focused, and work with precision—skills that support their learning across many subjects.\r\n\r\nTheir reaction when they first saw the materials was unforgettable. Students were thrilled to have their very own origami paper, especially with the bright colors and patterns. Having personal materials motivated them to be creative and confident. Several students immediately began imagining what they could make and were eager to start folding.
