That moment showed me how much ownership they already felt over their learning.\r\nWe are now using these resources every day during our math lessons, especially when solving multi-step equations and working through problem-solving activities. Students use their dry erase markers, and erasers to actively work out equations, which allows them to practice independently without waiting to share materials. This has increased engagement and confidence. Anchor charts are displayed and used throughout instruction to help students break down steps, and they often refer to them during group work, leading to more meaningful discussions and collaboration. Fidget tools and timers also help students stay focused and manage anxiety during independent work and assessments, while Jolly Ranchers provide small moments of motivation and joy as they work through challenging problems.\r\nStudents will continue using these tools to support their learning as they take on more challenging concepts. Because of these resources, my classroom has become more engaging, supportive, and student-centered.
