My students come from such an diverse cultural and economic background. Most of my student receive free and reduce lunch and don't have the luxury of tangible objects. But once they step inside my classroom they are all part of my classroom culture and no one is any different that than their neighbor. They are in a safe and warm environment and are treated fairly.
