Our school is a Title I middle school located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Our school offers 100% free breakfast and lunch. My students are amazing leaders and they love chess! They enjoy learning how to improve their focus, strategy skills, and good sportsmanship. Many of my students come from low-income and single-parent homes. Some of my students are responsible for helping out with younger siblings. Despite my students' challenges at home, my 20 future chess masters are eager to arrive at chess club every week. We also hope to sponsor some middle - school chess tournaments at our school. There are many middle schools in Vegas that have shown interest and we are looking forward to the opportunity. Thank you so much for your assistance. I am looking forward to many more years of helping students fall in love with the Game of Kings.
