Since returning to the building I am trying to engage my students as much as possible. In our math lab we spend a lot of time working on meaningful math projects, getting to know one another better and increase their social skills by encouraging them to work together daily. My classroom is a place where kids can be themselves and work together to excel in meaningful math projects and activities. This project will help meet K-5 Common Core State Standards for Numbers and Base Ten, Operations and Algebraic Thinking, and Measurement and Data.

About my class
