Since returning to the building I am trying to engage my students as much as possible. This project will enhance my students’ educational experience because it will allow them to begin using more contemporary techniques in the subject. My students will benefit directly as a result of being able to work directly in the digital medium by direct manipulation of the visual information. As a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, my students need relevant digital tool use skills. This project will help them in this area. Also, the materials I am requesting, digital drawing tablets, will nurture my students’ interest in visual art. My hope is that the modern tools will make a qualitative difference in the (culture/climate/instruction) in my classroom and create a group of lifelong learners.
