The anchor chart will keep track of the students that turn in completed homework. When the chart is close to completion or 3 weeks, whichever comes first, I will draw a letter and number. Whomever is in that spot will get to spin the prize wheel. I will do this for four students at a time.\r\n\r\nThe other anchor chart that I included is for our science unit. Because of you, our classroom has been transformed into a more inclusive, engaging, and sensory-friendly environment. Your contributions provided everything from the Pacific Playtents Sensory Tunnel and Theo the Therapy Dog to essential tools like Safety Scissors and Magnetic Learning Numbers.\r\nWhen the boxes arrived, the excitement in the room was electric! My students' eyes widened as we unpacked the Light-Up Bowling Set and the Giant Classroom Timer. The biggest \"wow\" moment, however, came when I expanded the Sensory Tunnel. A few of my more reserved students immediately gravitated toward it, realizing they finally had a dedicated \"recharge\" space that felt safe and fun. One student hugged Theo the Therapy Dog and didn't let go for the rest of the afternoon—the lavender scent and weighted feel provided instant comfort.\r\n One of my students, who usually struggles with the pressure of timed assignments, found the visual countdown of the timer much less intimidating than a ticking clock. When they used their buzzer to answer a question correctly, the look of pure pride on their face was priceless. It wasn't just about math; it was about the confidence that comes with having the right tools to succeed.\r\nWe will be using the Photo Nameplates to help students claim their personal space in the room.\r\nWe are also incorporating the Fidget Fun Kit into our daily \"Calm Down Corner\" rotations to teach self-regulation. When my students first saw the materials, they were very excited. There were many oohs and aahs. Every student has been willingly helpful with clean up at the end of the day of both wobble stools, colorful stools, and headphones. All of the colorful materials are simply pleasant to the eye in the classroom.\r\nWe have been using all of the materials daily. Now with the multicolored headphones, every child has a pair of headphones to use with chromebooks on a daily basis. We have a tool table next to our computer card where students responsibly store them back to their spot. We use the dry erase markers DAILY and I feel as if these will last for the remainder of the year and possibly into next year. The thin dry erase markers are especially nice for detailed, whole group whiteboard work.\r\nThe magnetic book stands help me keep organized with the text that we use every day, which changes week to week. It is a nice place to showcase the focal texts every day, and a quick place to find them easily when needed. I am filled with gratitude for having received all of these materials.
