All these resources will continue to help aspiring readers to continue their journey and love of reading. Several of these books complete a series or fill in the missing book that we have been missing. We have no books about the current president and vice preside of the United States, therefore some of the books selected will begin to fill that void. We have students that are struggling with family members who have had or currently have Covid-19 and are fighting for their lives. By having a variety of books that explains this outbreak at a child friendly level, we are hoping to help provide them with a deeper understanding of illness. Whether beginning readers or advanced readers, our list of books covers all grade levels. ELA RL. K.10, RL 1.10, RL2.10, RL3.10, RL 4.10. RL 5.10 will be covered with these books. This standard demonstrates student's abilities to read within a specific range as well as the text complexity of the books being used within each grade level. These books allow for that range along with complexity depending on the grade in which the books are used.
