With these new organizational tools, our physical classroom and training lab are highly structured, allowing students to spend less time looking for paperwork and more time gaining critical hands-on mechanical skills. The turn-in work organizer and magnetic paper pockets created a streamlined system for managing work orders, lab assignments, and student certification tracking. Students can now independently submit their daily shop reports and locate wiring or hydraulic diagrams without losing papers to grease and grime. Since the purchase of these items, we have implemented many new hands-on labs and experiences.\r\nSpecifically, the Work & Power lab, which has students doing bicep curls and other physical activities to calculate their work and power produced. Even though that was a lab from the last grading period, my students still like to pick up the dumbbell and do a few reps or step on the balance during their brain breaks.\r\nAnother fan favorite is the tuning forks. To help organize them, my dad built a stand with his CNC machine.
