The students love the water table, and it has been a wonderful addition to our recess time during the hot summer days. They made their own snowman that could last all year and then they wrote about what they would do if their snowman came to life as in the books. Also, since we are in the desert we made craft stick glitter snowflakes, to reflect the change in season to winter. The craft sticks were also used to make picture frames, and several holiday related projects. My students also used the beads to count to 100 and then turned it into a necklace. Every time they get to make a project using supplies that you funded, they tell me that it is the best day ever!
