I want to be able to provide my students with the tools they need to learn important musical concepts. Many of these concepts we learned by using the soprano recorder. These concepts include music staff reading and the musical alphabet. Since the pandemic started, we have been unable to use recorders safely in the music classroom. To safely use them we would need far more materials than I can afford. Ukuleles are a safer alternative to recorder that we will be able to use for years to come in our classroom.
