By supporting this project, you have helped me transform our classroom into a professional, collaborative studio where students finally have the space and tools to think like scholars.\r\n\r\nThe impact was immediate. My students were thrilled to trade standard worksheets for the interactive journals and project materials you provided. Seeing them collaborate on \"Gallery Walks\" with their large Post-it notes and Sharpies, or seeing a student finally settle into our new floor sofa to get lost in a complex novel, has been a highlight of our year. These materials have allowed my 7th graders to move beyond \"just reading\" and into deep, critical analysis through visual storytelling and reflection.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has shown my students that their ideas are valuable and their comfort is a priority. We are using the new supplies to create a wide range of projects, including painted stained glass, detailed drawings, and tunnel books. These hands-on activities allow students to experiment with color, texture, and storytelling while building both artistic skills and confidence. The additional materials have opened the door to more meaningful art experiences and given students the freedom to try new techniques.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the new supplies, their excitement was immediate and heartfelt. Because our classroom resources are usually very limited, having more options to create was truly special for them. Students were eager to dive in, share ideas, and begin working on projects that reflected their own imagination. The supplies have not only increased engagement, but also encouraged creativity, collaboration, and pride in their work.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, students will continue building on these skills by practicing watercolor techniques and creating more tunnel books as part of our current lessons. These upcoming projects will help them refine their artistic abilities while continuing to explore new materials made possible by your support. Your contribution has made a lasting impact, and our students are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to create, learn, and grow through art.","fullyFundedDate":1767981861400,"projectUrl":"project/paint-create-repeat/9986784/","projectTitle":"Paint, Create, Repeat!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. B","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8125756"},{"teacherId":8126126,"projectId":9543351,"letterContent":"The resources I received are currently being used to teach my students about different types of jobs and what they do. My students attend Middle School so they need to know about different jobs and potential careers available to them. The job resources are helping my students think about their futures and what kind of job or career they would like to pursue. \r\n\r\nRecently, my students and I used the magnetic jobs matching resource to explore different kinds of jobs and their uniforms. Students took turns choosing uniforms to dress their doll with and hearing more about the job they chose.\r\n\r\nMy students were very excited to see the resources about jobs. They enjoyed learning about different jobs with hands-on activities. The next step for my classroom is to set up a sorting area where students can learn how to sort various objects and stock shelves.","fullyFundedDate":1755267010378,"projectUrl":"project/learning-to-handle-my-emotions-and-disco/9543351/","projectTitle":"Learning to Handle My Emotions and Discovering Kinds of Jobs","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Briggs","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8126126_orig.jpg?crop=1536,1536,x0,y256&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1699117420553","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8126126"},{"teacherId":7994064,"projectId":5746175,"letterContent":"Students loved coding and building LEGO robots. There is nothing quite like the energy of a middle school classroom when students realize their hard work is being recognized in such a fun, tangible way. From the moment they saw the new supplies and snacks, the atmosphere shifted from routine to high-excitement.\r\n\r\nThe highlight was definitely the first spin of our prize wheel this week. Seeing the students lean in with bated breath, cheering each other on as they earned rewards for their participation and grit, was a powerful reminder of how much these small moments matter. These incentives have turned our daily goals into a shared celebration. Because of you, my students aren't just completing assignments—they are racing to show off their best work for a chance to celebrate their success.
