Completing crafts also helps my students focus and calm themselves. Most recently, my students used the new art supplies to color their Veterans Day pictures. \r\n\r\nThe students I teach have moderate to severe disabilities, but they showed their appreciation the only way they could. The students were pleased to have art materials that they could easily hold on to and use correctly. \r\n\r\nThe holidays are coming so my students will be using the new art supplies to complete a variety of coloring activities for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Nevada is a great state to live in. I provide 90% of the classroom supplies to my students and this donation helps lift some of the financial strain off of me and my family. It also helped them to feel comfortable in their learning environment.
