Flexible seating options will allow 21st century students to choose a seat that will work best for them to help them remain focused and engaged with their group collaboration activities. Having the flexibility to no only choose a chair that works best for them but to have the option of using a desk that they can write directly on in order to easily share with their group members their ideas or quickly provide visuals while explaining a math problem will increase student learning while allowing them to be efficient. Students will be able to complete math problems right in front of them and will enjoy do it in this collaboration center. Students will love having the option to work together at this collaboration center where completing math problems will be fun and convenient. With the ability to choose a seating option that allows them to be comfortable or even provides a vector for them to get their wiggles out, they will be more alert and able to concentrate on their activities and projects. Even though they have been out of class for the past year and a half, they will be invigorated because they have the option to choose comfortable seat that will aid in their regaining social skills they may have lost during school closures. The collaboration center will promote the use of social skills and allow them to regain these skills that are essential for working and creating a career in the 21st century real world.
