The five $100 gifts cards for Teachers Pay Teachers (TpT) would help buy the The Nitty Gritty Science Curriculum. This curriculum will make a difference in my students learning by providing real-world connections to their science concepts. This science curriculum from TpT provides the following: demonstrations, labs, and science stations; that will allow students to connect their vocabulary and science concepts in a hands-on interactive method. Students in my classroom currently work through science concepts by reading, watching videos, and doing labs that are specific to a unit of study. I would like to bring in smaller hands-on interactive units of study that allow students to connect their concepts to the real world and to the Science and Engineering Practices. These practices are the core of how a scientist and engineer use within their careers. I feel this curriculum from TpT will become the backbone to my students learning and allow for greater depth of knowledge.
