The hug balls, calming toys, and fidget toys have provided students with effective tools to manage stress, stay focused, and regulate their emotions during learning.\r\n\r\nOne memorable moment occurred during a classroom building challenge. A student who often struggles to stay engaged used a fidget toy while listening to instructions and then worked with classmates to create a Lego structure. Throughout the activity, the student remained focused, participated in discussions, and proudly shared the group's finished project. \r\n\r\nMy students will continue using the Legos in hands-on STEM challenges that encourage problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork. So far it is free of jams. When the materials first arrived, the students were excited to see the new supplies and immediately recognized how useful they would be. The students love the idea of having colored folders. Just today a student needed a bandage. I told her where to find the bandages. This saved so much time from the student needing to go to the nurse. The broom helps keep my room clean. I absolutely love it.\r\n Lastly, as a teacher pencils and pens are a vital to the classroom. It makes me feel great to have pencils for my students.
