My science club has a camp-out under the stars each year. We use telescopes to look at the stars and planets. Grill burgers and hot dogs. Have a midnight scavenger hunt. Tell ghost stories. and so much more. We have this on our school campus because of the convenience (restroom, cooking area, and a place to go inside if the weather is unfavorable). We had to borrow tents last year because our tents are worn out. These tents would be a blessing to our club. Most of our members will probably never get to go camping and with limited resources this is as close as we can get to giving them a night under the stars.
