Beyond enjoying a great story, the texts are helping to develop essential skills such as critical thinking, empathy, and vocabulary. Some books challenge our students to think more deeply about social issues, while others are pushing them to analyze characters' motivations and understand different perspectives. These skills will serve them well both in and out of the classroom.\r\nStudents participate in discussions, make connections to their own lives, and even do creative activities like role-playing or creating their own endings to stories. \r\n Some of our more reluctant readers have found themselves captivated by the intriguing plots or the relatable characters, and it's been wonderful to see their confidence grow as they explore books that spark their curiosity. For others, the books provide a new way to approach subjects that might have felt too challenging before, opening up new opportunities for academic growth and personal reflection.\r\nYour support has made all of this possible, and we are so thankful for your belief in the power of education and the joy of reading.
