It was a true \"Wow\" moment for us. Before your gift, my students spent so much of their time just digging through clutter to find their writers' notebooks. Now, seeing them walk in and have everything they need right at their fingertips has given them such a sense of pride and autonomy over their own little space.\r\n\r\nWe are in the middle of our plant life cycle, which can be a lot for a kindergarten student to keep track of—between their writing notebooks, plant journals, and writing tools, things can end up all over the floor. But with these pockets, the change was instant. During our very first session using them, I watched my students—even the ones who usually get overwhelmed by a messy desk—independently grab their materials and settle right into work. They actually stayed focused for 20 minutes longer than usual! It has turned their chairs into these cozy, personalized \"learning stations\" where they can really dive deep into their animal facts without the stress of losing their pencil or notes.\r\n\r\nWe are so excited for what's coming next as the kids move from the journaling/writing phase into full-blown research. These pockets are going to be lifesavers for holding their peer-editing rubrics and messy drafts as they get ready for their big \"research\" projects. Your kindness did so much more than just help us clean up; you gave my students a tool that makes them feel prepared and confident every single day.
