Nothing engages a student better than technology and snacks! Please help me make my classroom's learning environment something the students look forward to each day. Having tablets will help the students take the learning into their own hands with a medium they can relate to. Additionally, having a class set of tablets allows me to regulate the learning activities, which removes the students' temptation to be distracted by social media. It also provides an equalizer for the students who might not have their own phone and removes any kind of shame or embarrassment that some of the students might have regarding their financial situation. Having snacks will help meet a student need that's often not provided at home. Nourished bellies contribute to a healthy brain! My ability to provide the students with a healthy snack each day would also improve my relationship with them and improve class morale. I'm asking any generous donors out there for help to get nutritional and technological resources so the students can be engaged in a classroom that is designed for success. Thank you!
