Our class is in dire need of an update in technology to enhance their learning. We are still using our classroom's chalkboards, whiteboard and projector.Our classroom is one of the very few classrooms in the world that teaches the Hmong language and culture. We do not have books written in our language, so many of the students create their own books online. Wouldn't it be great to be able to share their books to the whole class through this interactive smartboard with just a click? The success of this project will benefit the students' learning in so many ways and in all subject areas. As a teacher, we strive for more differentiated learning in the classroom and I know with this smartboard, I can provide the visual learning the students need, along with so many other digital learning tools to further improve the quality of their education. I hope that we can work together to provide them the technology they need in order to create, share and showcase their ideas as an ongoing effort to preserve their language and culture.
