My 200 students have benefited from your generous donation of headphones, markers, and scissors to my classroom.\r\n\r\nStudents that don't have headphones have been able to watch several video clips pertaining to the African Civilizations of Ghana, Mali and Songhai as well as the civilizations on the Maya, Aztecs, and Incas. These clips allow students to watch the videos at their own pace and with closed captioning. \r\n\r\nWhen I pulled out the markers and scissors, students were very excited to use the new materials. The box of markers are a great way to keep them organized but also allowed student choice. By providing books in Spanish for the students in my classroom, you are helping to promote inclusivity that will last beyond this school year. Year after year, hundreds of students will benefit from this donation.
