Students acquire another language best through listening and reading. However, beginning French students do not have the necessary skills to read stories or articles written for native speakers. The Scholastic French magazine offers interesting, short articles written for students learning the language. My students are curious about how teens across the world live. With beautiful photos and engaging topics, this magazine allows students opportunities to travel to France and other French-speaking regions around the world without leaving the classroom! Students will be able to choose from a variety of topics that are especially interesting to them, such as music, sports, fashion, or the environment.
