I am eagerly awaiting more picture books with fishing as a theme, and so are there.\r\n\r\nYesterday Zexter had his book check-out day and he was disappointed that \"Catfishing with Grandpa\" was still checked out by one of his friends, so I suggested that they read it together during their classrooom's partner time. Sure enough when I arrived later in the day for my push-in writing lesson in their class, their heads were bent over the book together. Partner time, you might imagine, can sometimes rapidly devolve into non-academic conversations and off-task behavior, but in this case, they were wholly focused on the book and its beautiful illustrations. \r\n\r\nYou have made a difference in inspiring some of my formerly uninterested readers to get excited about books.
