We were amazed at the number of students who were really excited about learning how to sew. As they learned the process, they were even more excited when they saw whatever it was they were making get completed. That was the start of what we would become to notice was wonder. Wonder in the many things they didn't know. Wonder at the many things they wanted to learn. For us, this was the moment that everything changed in the classroom. \r\n\r\nSo far, our students are learning how to cook, read recipes, change recipes, create things such as blankets and fixing small holes in items, and use the materials that we were given so they can learn how to make something out of nothing. It is an amazing feeling for the teachers as well as the students to feel like we are able to do something new every day.
