By donating to my project, you will provide my students with much more than supplies needed to write and direct their own stop motion movies. You will give them the tools they need to take their original ideas, collaborate with their peers, and design something truly amazing. My students crave a creative outlet, one that provides them with innovative and cultivating opportunities. They are thinkers, doers and achievers. Using LEGOs in stop motion allows students to work with items they are familiar with while introducing a new concept. Stop motion animation encourages the development of vital skills such as analyzing detailed information, planning, task/time management and collaborating with peers. These skills are not limited to stop motion projects, or one specific class. They are invaluable life skills that will empower my students in their future educational and professional endeavors.
