During social‑emotional learning, the books about being a good listener, handling frustration, and the \"making good choices\" puzzle have helped my students make real‑world connections and practice the skills they need to navigate their day.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, they were absolutely thrilled. They were so motivated during our lesson because they knew we would get to unbox everything together afterward. Watching their excitement and pride as they explored the new tools reminded me how much these resources matter to them. \r\n\r\nRight now, we are continuing to strengthen our social‑emotional learning routines as my students get ready for first or second grade. Overnight I have students charge their laptops so that every morning they come in and they are ready to use. Students use their laptops for iReady reading small groups and math small groups. Also, we are getting ready by typing all our writing assignments on our laptops too. So that by the end of the day, most laptops need to be charged for the same thing the next day.
