Our school uses Class Dojo as a behavior management tool and students earn points for positive behaviors. This reward cart is a great incentive and the students really love purchasing a variety of fun prizes. Their faces light up when they shop and they work very hard to earn points to spend at our store.\r\nWhen I was adding items to my donors choose \"wish list\" I picked enough prizes to keep my cart stocked for the entire year. This pallet is painted in rainbow colors and has a clothes pin that is moved at the end of each class to the next color as long as behavior expectations are being met. I put the word Art up on the white board and erase a letter each time an expectation is not being met. As long as one letter remains at the end of class they get to move forward.\r\n\r\nOnce the class makes it around the pallet they get to spin the spinner for class prizes. These prizes very based on grade level. The prizes are mostly simple such as free draw etc. but a few involve getting to use materials otherwise not available in the classroom. This is an incentive for them. We also were able to get some auditory processing and listening comprehension activities.
