Some children are overly sensitive to fluorescent lights and the sounds around them. Children with auditory sensitivity have trouble tuning out background noises, such as papers shuffling or fluorescent lights buzzing. These headphones and whisper phones will make busy learning spaces a more acceptable learning environment for all types of students. The light from fluorescent fixtures can cause headaches and has an uncomfortable glare that makes a reading even more difficult for children with disabilities. Putting up light shades will filter out annoying hues and soften the light for students' eyes. Visual timers empower students to successfully manage their own time and become more independent.
