While some students start their year with their book bags full of supplies, others enter without a book bag on their backs or even a pencil to their name. This leaves us short on supplies to help students complete daily tasks in the classroom.
By the middle of the school year, the majority of students have depleted their supplies.
Each year, I buy a wide range of supplies for my students and classroom hoping to have an adequate amount of supplies saved up for the whole year. The reality is that each year we never have enough.
Students' school lives would improve by providing them with consistent supplies that aid in their learning. My hope is to improve our daily activities with the adequate amount of supplies that we need to work and learn.
We are in need of glue sticks and scissors to help us with compiling and completing our interactive notebooks in the areas of Science, Reading, and Math.
We are also in need of dry erase markers for students to use when working independently and in groups. We love to collaborate and work together in groups with dry erase boards, however, we have slowly run out of these supplies, too.
