Many of our digital learning activities require students to listen to directions, instructional videos, read-alouds, and interactive lessons. Having their own headphones allowed students to hear clearly without distractions and without interrupting the learning of others.\r\n\r\nWith headphones available, students were able to work at their own pace, revisit challenging concepts, and take greater ownership of their learning. They were able to use technology as a tool for practice, enrichment, and intervention while remaining focused on their individual learning goals.\r\n\r\nYour donation helped create a more focused, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every student has the opportunity to use technology successfully. Because of your support, my students were able to take science beyond the classroom and participate in an after-school model rocket club. Students worked in small groups to learn about the parts of a rocket, how rockets work, and important launch and safety procedures before building rockets of their own.\r\n\r\nThe excitement these materials created was incredible. For many of my students, this was their first opportunity to actually build and launch a model rocket. They had to follow directions carefully, solve problems when something didn't work as planned, collaborate with their teammates, and then finally see all of that work pay off when their rockets left the launch pad. Concepts that can sometimes feel abstract in a textbook suddenly became very real when students could watch forces, motion, aerodynamics, and engineering happening right in front of them.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, this project gave my students a chance to see themselves as scientists and engineers. The rockets gave us a hands-on experience they will remember long after the school year is over, and they have already helped build excitement for the STEM projects and investigations we will continue doing together. Thank you for giving my students the opportunity to learn by building, experimenting, launching, and occasionally looking very, very far up into the sky!","fullyFundedDate":1774617624705,"projectUrl":"project/from-classroom-to-the-stratosphere/10137524/","projectTitle":"From Classroom to the Stratosphere","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Hollinger","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5472241_orig.jpg?crop=337,337,x194,y14&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1750376067652","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5472241"},{"teacherId":3711532,"projectId":9322445,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for providing my students with whiteboards, erasers and snacks.
