With these we began writing and publishing our First Two Books. Book 1 was a collection of our All About Me pages. Students love seeing their own writing in a real book from our classroom library they can read over and over again. They delight in reading what their classmates wrote as well. Next we published a book that tells about the number of letters in each of our names. \r\n\r\nPublishing these books is engaging my class. Many students are in the emerging stages of reading and writing. They love these books. We have created an authentic audience for their writing.
