I will use these classic titles to plan weekly lessons around each center. Weekly lessons include a reading center, math center, art center, and a science center. By having these classic books accessible for students to take picture walks, and to use as a springboard for the classroom centers will help expose young students to classic literature and related centers. Every week, a book will be selected, then a reading center, a music and art center and science centers will be planned around that book. By making these books available to my preschool students would statistically help increase the beginning stages of becoming life-long readers.
