I teach in a school with many students who come from low-income families. About 81% of the students receive free or reduced-price lunch. Despite challenges in and out of school, my students are imaginative, curious, inquisitive, and hardworking. I want to foster their love of learning! I hope to give my students experiences, resources, and opportunities that they may not always receive at home. I want my classroom to be a place for them to explore, feel safe, question, converse, grow, and be challenged.

About my class
