They learned about the commutative property of multiplication using the lines and circles cards. They practiced drawing multiplication models using the multiplication capture cards. It is wonderful to hear their cheers of \"Yes!\" when they see on our class agenda that we will be having a multiplication lesson.\r\n\r\nThe 5th graders have been doing a fantastic job learning about equivalent fractions using the fraction supplies. They have been playing Uncover with the fraction tiles and using vocabulary like equivalent, numerator, denominator, and whole to explain how they knew what pieces could be exchanged fairly for what other pieces.
