For my juniors and seniors—the future doctors, nurses, and researchers of our community—having access to professional-grade materials is more than just a visual aid; it is the first step toward their future careers.\r\n\r\nWe are currently immersed in the study of the skeletal system, and the impact of these resources was immediate:\r\n- Real-World Diagnostics: The Broken Bones X-rays have been a total game-changer. Instead of just looking at diagrams, students are holding \"patient\" films up to the light, identifying fractures, and discussing the types of trauma that cause them. It has turned a lesson into a clinical simulation.\r\n- Large-Scale Visualization: The Extra Large Skeleton Poster and the set of 15 anatomical charts provide a constant, high-quality reference. Students move between their desks and the posters to compare the skeletal framework with the muscular and nervous systems.\r\n- Active Documentation: Using the Anatomy & Physiology Workbooks and the Interactive Science Notebooks, students are building their own medical portfolios, synthesizing complex facts into their own words and diagrams.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to move from the \"framework\" to the \"engine.\" Now that we have a solid understanding of the skeletal system, we will use the Muscular and Nervous system posters to study how the body generates movement and responds to stimuli.","fullyFundedDate":1757505665273,"projectUrl":"project/see-it-touch-it-learn-it-anatomy-in-a/9473661/","projectTitle":"See It, Touch It, Learn It: Anatomy in Action!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Maria Soldado Soler","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9457186_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1748719191556","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mariasoldado"},{"teacherId":1233651,"projectId":9937854,"letterContent":"Thank you for choosing to donate to our students with visual impairments. Students are now reflecting through writing and discussion on empathy, community responsibility, and how individuals can create change.
