New Haven Public Schools have been remote since March 2020. We just returned to a hybrid model for PreK-5 on January 19. I have spent countless hours researching and creating digital content for my students. I need to continue with the use of technology because students are not allowed to share materials. Normally I use books, flash cards and other paper materials for teaching. Although many classrooms have smart boards, my small room lacks that technology. I am requesting a projector for access to tons of online and digital content without being focused on a small screen. In the current environment, I would love to be able to provide digital books and lessons projected on my white board so my students have a small bit of time in their day where they can focus on something other than their small chrome book screens.
