Having six of these desks has provided much more flexibility in where and how students can work comfortably. Students now have the option to work at their assigned desk or sit at the carpet while still having proper support for writing or using their computers, without needing to sit in a traditional classroom chair and desk. \r\n\r\nI have noticed that several of my students prefer floor seating, and these surf desks have made it possible for them to continue learning in a way that feels natural and comfortable to them. The desks give students a stable surface to place their worksheets or devices, which has helped them stay focused and engaged. The excitement was immediate—students were thrilled to use them for the first time and continue to eagerly race to use them each day.
