For my students who need accommodations, the enlarged printouts and reusable protected pages have allowed them to access the same material as their peers with confidence and independence.\r\n\r\nIn Math, the calculators have been a game-changer. Some students who typically struggle with abstract reasoning lit up when they saw the graphs respond in real-time to their walking. It gave them a different entry point into the math—something they could feel and see, not just compute. A few students even started designing their own \"graphing challenges\" where they'd try to move in a way that produced a specific line shape on the screen (like a steep incline or a flat line), and challenged their peers to match it.\r\n\r\nOne student in particular, who often hesitates to speak up during lessons, took on a leadership role in helping others understand how to interpret the graphs. He would narrate their motions and point to changes on the screen in real-time, explaining things like, \"See? Students who have a difficult time use the timers to work for 15-20 minutes oit a time. They feel accomplished when the timer goes off. The timers are also very useful when the students go to the restroom. They use them to return to class in a timely manner. Students seem to see it as a challenge they need to meet or beat. The posters have really made a difference in creating a math-class environment and visual aids that are not only useful but that brighten the look of the classroom. The games have been a fun way for the students to reinforce concepts. The biggest problem is not having enough for students to play. The whiteboard has been useful when reteaching to students in a small group.\r\n\r\nWe started receiving our items, right after we returned from Winter break. We received a box a day for a few days. It felt like Christmas and students were guessing as to what was in the boxes. \r\n\r\nThe next steps are to use the posters we received about famous mathematician, for students to do a research project on the mathematician's most known contribution to math.
